1.1 "Derrato" is the trading name for Derrato Company. Derrato ("Derrato" or "we") operates an e-commerce platform consisting of a website, together with supporting IT, logistics and payment infrastructure, for the direct sale of consumer products and services ("products") to buyers.

1.2 These general terms and conditions shall apply to buyers on the platform and shall govern your use of the platform and related services.

1.3 By using our platform, you accept these general terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these general terms and conditions or any part of these general terms and conditions, you must not use our platform.

2.2 When you register for an account, you agree to:

• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately if your password is disclosed
• Take responsibility for any activity on your account
• Use your account exclusively (no sharing with third parties)

2.4 We may suspend or cancel your account at any time. If we cancel products you've paid for without cause, we will provide a refund.

3.1 You acknowledge that:

• Our platform allows you to purchase products directly from Derrato
• Derrato is the seller of all products on the platform
• A sales contract forms when you confirm your purchase

Returns and refunds are managed according to our returns policy, subject to applicable laws.

All payments must be made in accordance with our Payment Information and Guidelines available on the platform.

Any content you submit to the platform, including reviews, comments, and images ("User Content"), is your responsibility. By submitting User Content, you grant Derrato a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with our services.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms at our sole discretion, without notice.

All content on the Derrato platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the intellectual property of Derrato or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our platform without our express written permission. Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Our platform and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Derrato makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the platform or the information, content, or products included on it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Derrato will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this platform or from any products purchased. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Derrato, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nairobi, Kenya.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the platform.
